The Justice Court is located in the Town Hall in Canaan, New York. This is actually a higher volume Court due in part to the section of the NY thruway (I90) and Routes 295 and 22. The New York State Police and Columbia County Sheriff's Department routinely patrol these roads! All matters are currently be prosecuted by the Columbia County District Attorney's Office and an appearance in Court is required.
